The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year... Yeah Right.

Let's see, Mark has pneumonia. Ethan has croup and we are doing breathing treatments every three hours (day and night). Matthew has been so sick he hasn't slept a wink. Which means neither have I, and last night he started in with the coughing. Great! Kaylie has a horrible cold and so do I. If you ask me, it's the most MISERABLE time of the year. I mean who are they trying to kid? It's bitter cold outside, and dark and dreary. Sickness abounds, and all this commercialism totally aggravates me. I know I must sound like the Grinch but this IS NOT the most wonderful time of the year. (Talk to me in May or June). Whoever wrote that song was smokin somethin. BAH HUMBUG!

Poor Brunsdales, I hope that things start looking up for you all. Sorry that everyone is sick. Like you said "It's the most wonderful time of the year."

Come on Natalie. I love you to pieces and you're an awesome mother. Try this: instead of counting sheep at night when you can't sleep, or when you're sitting up late at night holding little Matthew, start counting your blessings. Sorry for the lecture, but everyone has moments of wanting to drive to the nearest bridge, but all in all, this is a wonderful time of year!!!! Watch It's a Wonderful Life." You'll feel better.
I'm sorry you're all under the weather, but this too shall pass. I have a great book for you to read. It's call "Multiple Blessings." You'll love it!

I want the book mom recommended when your done with it. I was studying about the 10 Lepers and I thought, "What is being taught here?" The thought came to me, "maybe Christ is saying that 90% of the time, I am ungrateful" As I have thought about that, and my life and attitude, I think it is probably true. I have to admit, the picture of Ethan makes me thankful that I'm not you (at least not yet). Hee Hee.

You're just sleep deprived and overwhelmed. Take a nap. You'll feel much better.
